There is something fascinating about the idea of what the future may hold. There’s also something fascinating about the potential for humans to evolve. This fascination for me derives from a deep longing to know that I may be apart of something far greater than myself. That I may have a place in this universe of what seems like a statistical improbability of randomness and chaos. When looking at the greater picture it all seems so surreal and incomprehensible. So we as humans need to digest this in chunks.
We need to understand where we came from to recognize patterns that we can then apply to the conditions of our present life in order to predict what comes next, or in my words, what exactly is The Next Generation of Human. You may know some of the stuff this blog will contain, and I hope you do, because I want the purpose of my blog to be pointing out things you can relate to in order for you to recognize that we are already there. That if we can pause for just a few moments in the present time we can recognize that humans have evolved already and the speed at which we are evolving is only increasing. I don’t wish this to be some sort of cult-like vision from the latest Netflix Black Mirror sci-fi episode, I merely wish to assess what technology, culture, society, economy, and unlimited access to information is doing to us and for us in order to propel our physical and mental selves forward throughout the randomness and chaos I previously mentioned.
I’m a very rational, compassionate, empathetic, science-based, curious deep thinker of a person. So you can expect philosophical thoughts based upon things I have found myself pondering and researching into. This blog may be opinionated based upon my understanding and perspective of the world we all live in, but I can gaurantee you that anytime I state something as fact, that it will be researched, and anytime I speak my own thoughts on the matter, it will also be clear.
I do not wish to teach you, I do not wish this to be a college lecture, and I definitely don’t wish this to be me imposing any sort of beliefs onto you. I just wish to pick your brain and cause you to truly ponder the world around you and to really think deeply about who we are in the animal kingdom and where we are heading.
So I hope this makes enough sense and causes you to stop by frequently in order to hear me out and take a moment in time to think deeper than the routine motions of every day problems and life with me.
